Redfield Accellerator Red Dot?

I'm seeing them on sale for $120 from Natchez and others. Anyone used one enough to see how well they hold up? What mounts do they use?

My experience is that none of the "reflex" type red dots less expensive than the Burris FastFire has been any good. I can't afford to be a guinea pig right now.

I almost bought one a few weeks ago for a rimfire pistol without a reciprocating slide. The reviews I read shied me away from it, something about not being daylight bright.

From my research on it, it comes with a Weaver/picatinny mount which would have worked for me.

got to agree with you. They don't impress me either. Ive got a buris fastfire and have had one other fastfire. I also have a bushnell copy of it. At least the bushnell was under a 100 bucks. Quality wize I cant see where the burris at twice the price is worth another dollar and id guess that redfield could be lumped right in there too. Want my guess? id about bet they all come from the same factory in china.
