could be a fun project i you can get one cheap, i think sarco has surplus heat shields. making a bayonet lug would be easy.

Thats would be a pretty cool looking shotgun. I never really liked the ribless short barrels, having a heat shield would probably appeal to me.

A buddy came by and called dibs on it, otherwise I had considered doing just that. As it stands he's still deciding on exactly what color scheme he wants to go with.

Yeah I don't like the naked barrel look when they are there short.

He's pretty stoked with it, so much so that he didn't ask if it was for sale, just handed me cash for it lol.

Re-enameled the reciever, and durablued the barrels and magazine tube.
