Hey all!

First post on this forum for me, been lurking around in the shadows but now i kind of need a little help so i got myself this brand new shiny account.
:D

Question
When reloading 9x19 and .38 Super(not Comp) what differs when changing calibers.

After reading the manual i understand that 9x19 & .38 Super uses the same

#5 Shellplate (13743)
#F Powder Funnel (13806)
#3 Locator Pin (14060)

and for the casefeeder

Station 1 locator #5 (14224)
Casefeed adaptor GREEN (13450)
Casefeed plate small pistol (21073)

But here comes the tricky part,

i have the 3-die kit for 9x19 from Dillon... and the Size/deprime- & Crimp-die for .38 Super.

When reading the manual for a SDB the seating stems is the same for both calibers but what about the seating die?

Is the seating die the same for both calibers on both the 550 & SDB or am i confused?

I'm not sure about the 550, but I reload 9x19 and 38 super on my XL650 and I have a toolhead set-up with Lee dies for the 38 super. I use the same

#5 Shellplate (13743)
#F Powder Funnel (13806)
#3 Locator Pin (14060)
Station 1 locator #5 (14224)
Casefeed adaptor GREEN (13450)
Casefeed plate small pistol (2107)

for both 9mm and 38 super.
I found it was easier to have a toolhead for the 38 super rather than changing the sizing die and readjusting the power die, seating die and taper crimp die. And yes you can use the same seating and crimp die if you wish to.
