Reloading is good for the Spirit

Yes, it is. Wife and kids will be out of town tomorrow until Sunday. When I get back from work, I plan on spending a couple hours out in the garage, just me and the press. No wife nagging, wondering when I'm coming inside, no kids fighting, making the wife nag even more. Gonna be nice.

mc223, I'm glad you added the parenthasis there.
I agree. Reloading is very calming for me as well. Probably because when you're doing it, it has to have your full atention. Everything else has to be put on hold.
With me, golf does the trick too, but that's another topic. :)
Golf ain't so calming unless you are having a great game! That game frustrates me more than anything known to man at times and there are times where the game makes me more joyous than ever. Go figure! I just took a hiatus from playing 2 1/2 mos. ago. Got into shooting and reloading. As the OP mentioned...I am at one with my vibrating tumbler.

I agree Walkalong with the comment about, "When they get older, they'll understand." When "Honey" comes to the top of the stairs, doesn't hear me snorin', she knows I'm alright, "Must be reloadin' again"! {Heavy exhale as she stomps upstairs again.} LOL

When my wife hears the rhythmic click-clunk sound from the garage, she usually pops her head in (once only, she doesn't pester) and says "Need anything?". Usually my reply is something along the lines of "Here. Wanna reprime your brass?" or "Wanna pull that load out of the tumbler?". She learned a long time ago that if she tries to talk to me too much my response will be: "I just want to remind you, I'm charging YOUR ammo now!" She knows what a double charge or squib can do and smiles and does the little 'zip your lip' motion and walks out.
