Forgive me because I am somewhat ignorant of guns; what makes the TC better than a Remington or a Savage at that price point?

Come on now, I wasn't tiring to be antagonistic, I was really wanting to know why one would think a TC similarly priced would be "light years better" than any Remington or Savage out there. Maybe my next rifle will be a TC.
