Anyone who might be able to help with the reassemble of my Remington 11-48
The two Links coming off the bolt/slide where exactly do they go. There are three indentions behind the trigger assy. A manual would be a godsend
Thx-

I think you refer to the link struts. They engage the cup at the front of the bolt spring follower. This bolt spring goes back into the butt stock. Hope this helps.:)

11-48 Info

I used to have a 11-48 and still have the instruction folder for it. I have just registered and don't know how we communicate but if you can E-mail me an address, I'd be happy to mail it to you.

Rem 11-48

You probably have it all back together by now, but if you don't, private message me your postal address and I'll send you detailed instructions. Also, if your bolt spring follower is aluminum, you should replace it with a steel one.

If someone has an extra copy of the breakdown I would sure appreciate a copy if it's at all possible ? Thanks

Rem M 11-48

Anyone have the breakdown and assembly instruction for a Rem 11-48.
I am trying to help a friend who just inherited one.
I have a schematic.
Thanks

Brownell's has the parts.
Glend Arms:

I believe the 11-48 may use the same FP & spring as all the other recent Remington shotguns:
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=10775&title=FIRING+PIN&s=27223#27223

http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/st...tle=FIRING+PIN+RETRACTOR+SPRING&s=27391#27391

You just need to drive out the retainer pin in the bolt far enough to get the old firing pin & spring out, and the new one in.
