Remington 1100 20 ga s

I have a Remington model 1100 light 20 gauge. That runs perfectly with two shells. But if I put three in it, if Miss feeds and jams. What should I be looking at?

And since you will be taking things down, it may be time to examine and/or replace mag spring, magazine follower and the O-rings in the gas system to be sure it’s ready for dove season.

This. Plus, if your follower is plastic, buy a shiny new metal one.

Simple, cheap stuff 1st. I'd give it a good cleaning including the inside of the mag tube. There may be some gunk in there that needs to go. If that doesn't work, then start replacing parts.
