I never saw one of these before.
It looks pretty realistic and allows for indoor shooting.
Folks reviewing it said that it has the weight and feel of the real 1875 six gun.
Sure looks a lot like an 1858 revolver with a loading lever.
It has a smoothbore barrel that shoots both pellets and bb's.
If pure lead pellets were fired into a trap with it, then they can be recycled for casting.

I have this, as well as their Colt SAA CO2 revolver. Both are very good, realistic (except for the changes for bb/pellet ammo) and excellent for none firearm firing fun.

I didn't realize that it had such realistic cartridges and loading procedure.
There's some other videos, but this is only 1 minute long and shows how it loads.

This guy likes to twirl his gun a lot.

Articap, I like that Remmy pistol! Crosman has made good guns for decades. As a kid in the 60's I had a Crosman .177 pellet air rifle, and I soon learned to only pump it up halfway for the best accuracy. My Dad had a 50' shooting range in the basement with a bullet trap made from 1/4" steel, and , yes, he got all of the lead pellets in the trap. Lots of fun!

I also had a Daisy air rifle that we used to play "Army" with the neighborhood kids and used to shoot dirt clods out of the muzzle at each other. I wonder what the neighbors thought of all the divots in their lawns? When my Mother got wind of that, no more playing "Army". :( Never put anyone's eye out.

I have no idea what the CO2 cartridges cost or how long they last. Air was free.

Nice find!

Jim

I wouldn't normally discuss air guns here but we have discussed antique air guns made well over a century ago that used to be loaded through the muzzle.
Air guns accompanied Lewis & Clark on their journey too.
Last night I saw an interesting BB gun in the THR air gun forum that was made in Japan to look just like a Kentucky percussion rifle.
The model was the Ultra Hi Products Pioneer Model BB76.
It looks like a clone of the Miroku Kentucky percussion rifle that was also imported by Ultra Hi Products.

Very nice collection! Especially like the S&W Top Break and the Remington Model 1875!
