Remington 700 CDL .22 cal info

I have a 700 cdl in .22 cal. Can anyone give me any info?? A bolt action Remington.. Bought it off GB.. It came with a Zeiss scope.. Had to have new extractors put in.. Had to send it to the Remington custom shop.. They would not send the parts or let anyone do the work but them..

I should think it may be a 40X, like P.B. mentions...a VERY, VERY good rifle!

Thanks for your input... But it is a 700 CDL.. Remington took the Serial # when i asked them to ship the extractors..The said it was a custom shop gun with a full transferable lifetime warranty...I found plenty of 700 cdl on GB .. But no more 22's.. The rifle comes with a 5 shot mag..Hand cut checkering..

I was under the impression 40X's were marked 40X.

I once had a 40X Sporter - traded it for a .44 magnum, like a young idiot - but it was marked as such. Probably the Custom Shop assembled the same gun and just called it a 700 CDL.
