They've been investigating steel and aluminum case manufacturing technology for some years now. Perhaps they've finally decided to adopt one of the methods.

Is all Remington ammunition produced in Arkansas?
Yes. There may be some exceptions - I think the shot for their Hevi-Shot rounds were made elsewhere when they had the line, but the final product was assembled there, as are most of the components.

If you're ever in Arkansas, you can see the plant very well on Interstate 40, about 15-20 miles west of Little Rock. The huge tower is where they make their lead shot, which from what I hear is a really simple but interesting process. There is also a trap/skeet range open to the public.

Well, I hope their quality control improves. The times I have ever had a misfire or failure to feed was all Remington ammo. I am not saying that they don't make good ammo but that's just been my experience with them. For that reason, I try to stay away from them.

For those of us in Arkansas, this is good news. We can use the economic boost, and more ammo on the shelves!

Good news for everyone. We get more ammo, Remington makes more money, and the citizens of Arkansas get more jobs.
