Yep, these are classic examples of deadly "assault weapons".:scrutiny: Please post more of these, I want to see how many of them resemble anything even close to an "assault weapon".

o Unforgiven o
Here is one you will like. The guy removed the buttstock screws but could not get the buttstock off so, he just cut it off. I guess he wanted what is called a Choppa. (folding stock or short AK)
What he did wrong was walk out in his front yard to test fire it. This was in the city and his heighbors got upset after he fired off about 10 rounds, hitting a few of their cars.
Bubba Thugs are not all that smart. If I remember right, the gun was stolen and the guy was a convicted felon.

For anyone that ever contemplated a career in law enforcement.... Here's a pretty good description that served me well during my 22 years in that line of work...

It's the only job I know of where you have to wash your hands before stepping up to the toilet.

Thanks for posting these pics.

And thanks again for helping keep these off the streets out of the hands of those that would use them for no good.

Try being a mechanic.

But here is a sad part to my job.
The guy that had this one was charged with PWID Sch II (possession with intent to distribute).
The gun was not listed as stolen and will end up being distroyed.

It's a Colt Lighting made in 1899. :(

Depending on the type of case, evidence has to be held for so many years, even it the person is convicted. Some have to be kept forever.

There are tons of red tape to save a gun. Some can be transfred to Dept. property, but it has to be aproved by the court and then by the Dept. This can take months.

Guns like the Colt could be saved and donated to a Museum.
We had a Colt 1911 (WWI) that was in very good shape. It took several letters and red tape to get it cleared to donate to a museum. The trouble is after all that work we could not find a Museum that would take it. :banghead:

Start one showing off these criminal abominations to the public. It would be interesting. That Colt though I've never seen before, never knew a "Peacemaker style" double action revolver existed besides the 1895 Nagant.

I feel dirty just having looked upon the first two sets of pictures.

Le'me guess... he had it loaded with the cheapest target loads that Walmart sells?

I imagine that when he took his saw to the wood stock of the 1100, he got through... and to his surprise, there was a steel tube inside it with a spring mechanism therein. Of course, he knew it was superfluous and decided to remove it as well... because... we all know you don't need that part.
Bubba Thugs are not all that smart.
Typo; Bubba Thugs are not at all smart. I wonder if he thought the modifications he made (turning an auto into a single shot) were actual improvements.

Not even the National Firearms Museum in Fairfax?

A shame to see such beautiful items relegated to scrap.

My dad was career law-enforcement and spent almost 20 years in robbery/homicide. He often said; "Thank god they're stupid, or they'd be a lot harder to catch!"
