Remington Model 11 Sportsman Truelock Chokes.

Hello everyone. Quite awhile ago I posted here on THR about what to do to get a better trap shooting pattern out of this gun. I finally decided to send the barrel to Michael Orlen in MA. He had me measure the barrel before sending, it met his requirements for the chokes I wanted. It was a Improved Cylinder bore from the factory. Turn around time was less than 2 weeks. Just wanted to post a follow up stating that Michael does fantastic work and that Clay birds don't stand a chance anymore. At least on my good days, not any fault of the gun. Lol.
He was able to get me Full, Modified and Improved Modified. Those were what I requested. Excellent work was done and gun shoots to same point of impact. If you were looking for similar work to be done, I highly recommend him.

I have three shotguns that I've had Michael install Colonial Sporting Clay thin-wall screw-in chokes in (and one that I haven't yet gotten around to sending to him). On the Auto 5 below I also had him lengthen and polish the forcing cone and chamber. All three of my guns that he worked on throw good and accurate patterns, and I'd definitely use Colonial chokes and Michael's services again.

He has historically only changed prices when the overarching conditions of the economy required it -- usually a few years between changes. I don't know, but I doubt there's been a change since the 2022 update that I posted above.
