My 8 is in 30, while the 81 is in 300 savage. I have said before that in shooting both of them there is night and day difference between them. Back several years ago Graf had "factory" ammo. The cases had their head stamp. I bought one box of their ammo and 100 brass from them. I load mine just a tick softer then their own rounds. It is so much fun to shoot. They are thick old girls and are just not that bad.
The 300 savage is different however, that thing with a factory load is just harsh, as in well this is not a lot of fun. I loaded that way down to the point of the gun running in a reliable manner.
But such fun guns, and amazing to how they work inside with all those little levers on the sides....just cool to me.
