Remington R25 hi cap mags

this topic may be moved, but I may get more readers here....a friend got an R25 in .243, came with only 5 round magazine, does anybody know if other mags interchange with it. I know Magpul makes some, but easier to find a Democrat watching Fox news than this type magazine.

I believe the R25 in 243 will run with Magpul LR20 PMags, which are intended for 308 rifles. Is your friend in Luling, too? Go to Cabelas in Buda, in stock a couple weeks ago. I-35 @ FM2001. Cabelas also had a bunch of other Magpul stuff in stock, and assorted AR accessories from other vendors. They do not have the best prices, but the Magpul stuff was MSRP so you won't find an LR20 much cheaper anywhere else.

Yes, DPMS or Magpul's fit the R25 (I have same 1 you have-really like that rifle!)
I've have the new 10 rounders that Magpul has come out with as well as 20's and they work great

The R25 is a rebadged DPMS LR-308. The .243 Win cartridge is just a necked down .308 Win. So, any DPMS / KAC pattern .308 magazine will work in your R25. That includes the MagPul PMag Gen 3 LR/SR in 10, 20, and 25 round capacities.

I did some reading, Bushmaster and DPMS are actually what the new Remington R15s and R25 are now....stands to reason same lowers, so magazines for all should interchange.....lmccrock...yeah we both live in Luling and got lots of places to shoot. I am gonna get me another rifle in an AR frame but it will be an Armalite AR10 in a different configuration of those I already have. I stick to Armalites but got 2 old Bushmaster BAR10s, made mistake of not wearing hearing protection first time....wont do that again.

C Products also make mags for the R25 I have some 10 rounders. I believe they are black stainless and they make bigger capacity also

Tx Patriot, Armalite is now offering some of their rifles with a redesigned lower that accepts the DPMS / KAC pattern mags. Since you like Armalite it might be a best of both worlds for you.
