Remington Rand Unique Barrel Markings

I've poured through numerous posts and read everything I can find about the different barrel markings for my 1943 RR. I can't find anything that matches my barrel and I'd just like to authenticate the gun. All the frame and slide markings check out.
My barrel says "45 AUTO 7791193" on top (visible without removing barrel). It is stamped "P" on the underside. The Right Locking Lug has an "M" on the rear and a "P" on the front. The Left side locking lug has what appears to be an "S." And it is followed by a tool marking symbol of some sort that is tough to make out. Can anyone help me out with the make (and period) of this barrel?

It is a postwar replacement barrel. The number is an ordnance stock number; the S shows it was made at Springfield Armory and the M means it was magnafluxed to detect any flaws.

There are a number of 779 parts, slides included. People wonder why their "serial numbers" don't match.

last question, is there a good place to find an original HS barrel to get it back to original? I've seen one on ebay, but it doesn't say when it was made.

I don't believe HS made barrels post-WWII.

If you put a HS barrel in it, it will be correct but it can never be original again.
Swapping stuff around to get a correct gun is a popular game among Garand collectors but the 1911 experts turn their noses up at it. The 1911 crew will go on and on about wear patterns and such.
