It was really easy to remove the dowel in my semi auto shotgun to extend its capacity. The shotgun manual says that it can shoot 3+1, now that the dowel is removed I can fit maybe 5+1. (please note that I am not using this for hunting.)

Now the spring in the magazine tube is compressed more and is putting more pressure when loading the second round. Is this too much or is this expected wear? Is there such a thing as too many rounds in a tube?

I just want to be safe and wanted to get a 2nd opinion from you old folks :neener:

Let not your heart be troubled by what you have done in removing the magazine plug young whippersnapper. I would not exceed the stated mag capacity however.

:)neener: back at you)
