I have a Charles Daly 12 ga. Model 700 O/U shotgun that was manufactured by Miroku in Japan. I bought it new sometime in the middle sixties and it has been my pride and joy all these years. Today while shooting trap with my brother-in-law something happened and it will no longer fire either barrel. I think it has to do with the trigger or selective safety mechanism but not really sure.
Does anyone have a parts schematic or know where I could obtain one for this shotgun? As they are no longer made, what about parts or someone I might contact to work on it?
As this was my favorite shotgun I am very concerned about getting it expertly repaired. It would be hard to replace it with a new one of similar workmanship and quality now for less than a couple of thousand. Can anyone help?
