The stock is specific to the model. I think it can be retrofitted, but doing so, was beyond my limited skill set. I had a Universal for a while and tried to fit it into a M1 Paratrooper stock. It hung up on the receiver end. It looked as if material could be removed from the stock to make it fit, but I had run out of patience trying to get the Universal to run reliably. I got a bad one.
