Nifty. At that price, you can put some effort and little money into it and have a fine, fine shooter you'll never worry about getting a scratch on in the field.

I just got a S&W 34-1 about 4 days ago & it doesn't look like it was ever fired. Reason I mention this is I have never owned
a S&W 22 caliber until now and it has landed in the wrong place to go unfired. .

I like the way you think. If they weren't made to be fired, they wouldn't have a firing pin! Shoot the snot out of it, keep it clean and if you get ready to pass it on, so what if you lose a few bucks. You will have a ton of fun at the range.

The range report for this little revolver is positive. I wish the rear sight was a bit larger for my old eyes. At 10 yards with SV CCI ammo I can, on a good day, keep all shots on a 2" circle. For my eyes that's as good as it gets with those little iron sights. I need to shoot it on a rest one of these days.

I'd been wanting a double action .22 revolver for a long time. I found a winner.

You gotta a something going for your. Looks like Bubba did not get to it in the Custom Gun and Bumper Plating Works. Also Bubba did not get into the insides. No burred screws and the screw holes have not been dished. I have had a pitted revolver buffed and blued. It looked like hammered do-do. What I'm gonna do from now own is clean the rust not using any abrasive an leave it be. My chances of making it worse are excellent otherwise.
