I should note that you can get them cheaper now I think. Plus that one's not the cheapest (I hate using that term) model. It's normally about $150 more than the base model.

I like Charters ... anyone of the 5
I own , I would recommend ...

Charter now offers a 6 shot 357mag
with a 3 inch barrel , built on there XL
frame ... most likely the next revolver , I will buy

I also recommend the Ruger LCR 38 or 357

I just really enjoy the honesty of the Charter guns. They are rough. They are inexpensive. No one is going to brag about about owning one. But they work, and the company stands behind its product.

A couple of weeks ago when things started to get a little hairy with the panic buying and all that, my wife and daughter were heading out of town to check on her mom one last time before things shut down, and I was unable to go. My wife wanted some protection to take with her. She's not a shooter, so point and click interface was what I was going for. Enter the Charter Arms Undercover. DAO and stoked with 5 rounds of soft shooting ARX ammo. Perfect fit for her needs.

I really like my .45 Pitbull. Comfortable to carry and shoot. My 686 blows it out of the water in terms of finish, but that Charter is very reassuring in the hand.

Several years ago I bought my wife a Charter Arms Pink Lady. At 12 oz. she doesn't mind carrying it, but admittedly, recoil is pretty fierce. But revolvers such as this are perfect for those who don't shoot often. Just point and pull the trigger.

Some of their LCRs used to have a lock but none of mine have it. In fact, they may not put it on any of them now.

One of mine did, the other did not. I never did bother to find out what the difference was. It was hidden, as it should be.
