Went revolver shooting with some buddies yesterday....
Shot my buddy's new 7 shot 686(?)......the trigger was wicked heavy..is that normal??The gun was quite accurate though. My Ruger speed 6 and SP101 triggers are way better...Igot some work done on the SP,but the Speed 6 is stock(although the gun is 30 yrs old and well broken in).I was surprised by the S/W trigger..I had always heard great things about them, but in DA mode I could not pull the trigger w/out the gun moving all over the place....
Anyway...also shot another guys mod.66.....nice gun,,,,but the stock grips suck....need some Houges.....accurate for a snubby.....
I was pleased with my Speed six(only had it for a month)Getting used to shooting it....it's different poa than my Glock17,(the Ruger needs a 6o'clock hold)
all in all a fun day...gotta love the wheelies
