I've run out of buckshot for shooting things on the back 40, and am looking to get a dozen boxes. I found some Rio buckshot 12 gauge 00 that is cheap. Does anyone have any experience with it? Good? Bad?

I also found Sellier & Bellot Buck Shot at a quarter of the price. It is currently sold out, but I'm curious about that too.

It looks like it isn't buffered, so it won't be as consistent due to deformation of the pellets. Same thing with S&B. Perhaps you don't need buffering, but I think it would be good to try out a box of buffered and a box of non buffered and see how they compare.

Wow, I just found some Federal for the same price. I may not need to look into Rio after all.

Grr...nevermind...it's out of stock...as is every good deal I seem to be finding. Hmm...I think I see a pattern...

Everyone's buying up ammo as it only gets more expensive, that and the political horizon is a little frightening right now.
