Does anyone have issues shooting lead bullets out of this gun at 357 mag velocities?

My standard 357 load is a 158 gr cast bullet over 14.5 grains of 2400. Works well in my revolvers but I can't seem to get consistent groups at all. 4-5"+ at 50 yards and all over the paper at 100 yards (and off the paper too).

The same bullet over 3.5 grains of bullseye shoots nice little 2" groups at 50 yards in 38spl cases.

I thought maybe the bullets were too soft for the speed, I would think there would be lead in the barrel if they were getting stripped out but the barrel was clean after shooting 50 of these. They aren't keyholeing either.

The only thing I can think of is the 1:30 rifling might not be suited for 158 gr bullets at 1700+fps but I don't know that much about it twist rate for this type of bullet.

I have some 125gr jacketed bullets that I'll try next time I am out to see if the lighter bullets shoot better. I was really hoping to make the 158 gr bullet work though because it works great in the revolvers.
