Hello
I recently purchased a Rossi Squire 20 gauge double barrel and I am looking for disassembly instructions.
I know how to take off the forearm and then the barrels, but want to take the reciever apart for a good cleaning as well.
If anyone has these instructions in a book at home, or an actual manual, I could pay for your time and trouble to photo copy and send them to me.

Thanks

Here's a free schematic from Gun Parts Corporation:

Here's some free advise on disassembly.......DON'T.
Most double shotguns are assembled at the factory using assembly jigs, slave pins, and special clamps.

Without those jigs and clamps, reassembly can be an absolute nightmare even for a pro gunsmith.

If you feel it needs a cleaning, get a can or two of something like Gun Scrubber.
Remove the stock, and give the inside of the action a GOOD spray down.

Allow to dry, then spray with a good lube like CLP Breakfree in the spray can.

Thanks for the info Dfariswheel;
I wont be disassembling this shotgun.
This is the first double I have ever owned or handled. I didn't know that they could be so difficult to take apart and put it back together.

Thanks again

No need to do it, and most likely trying would be a mistake. Removing the buttstock in addition to the barrels and forearm is as far as you need to go. They weren't meant to be detail stripped for routine maintenance, only for repairs- and that at the hands of a qualified 'smith.

Glad to see you decided to forego the experience...
