After handling the subject rifle at a LGS, I had to have it. That was yesterday, today I got it to the range for some fun.

The LGS of course had let the cat out of the bag, my first goal was to get the feline back in the bag. Without reading the manual it took less than 5 minutes to break the rifle into it's major components and stuff it back into the included carry bag.

I added a 2" or so keymod rail section to the handguard bottom for a bipod, and confirmed a QD scope and mount would clear the iron sights.

Problem: the keymod rail section screws blocked the barrel assembly's entry into the upper receiver. A couple turns with an allen wrench loosened the rail section so the barrel assembly could get by, and get seated. This needs some followup.

Gas block set on "1" would not cycle the action, "2" operated the action flawlessly with all fodder.

The trigger is not bad, but it's not good. It's probably good enough for the platform.

The rifle shot green tip like a shotgun patterns.

It shot 69 grain SMK Blackhills remanufactured into 1.5" groups at 100 yards.

After 100 rounds or so the action was as clean as it was before shooting; expected from a piston rifle.

I like the rifle enough to order a 300 BLK barrel assembly. The takedown and barrel swap are obviously the draw with this one. If those features don't matter then it's just another nice AR with a premium price.
