So I finally picked up my suppressors this week from T&J Tactical out of Radford, VA.

Great guy. He makes suppressors for Police departments throughout my home state.

He demonstrated a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lightweight pistol with an integrated barrel and I was wowed.

I decided on a Stainless steel variety since I already had a Mark II Target Competition.

Well after the wait, paperwork, fingerprints, taxes, and waiting...did i mention waiting, here I was, the proud owner of one of the most impressive pistols in my collection:

This was pricey but well worth it. I shot 300 rounds through it today. It has adjustable sights and I was hitting 3” plates, and other plates on my range at home. I used

Standard 22 LR ammo. I’ll grab some subsonic ammo in a few weeks.

The trigger is very good. I have somewhere around 700 rounds on it. I’ve been shooting daily on my property. I have been trying out different brands of ammo to see what works best. The sights on my Mark IV Target are adjustable which is necessary since point of impact changes depending upon what I use.

For the Suppressor, it is quiet except when bullets hit steel. I am using standard ammo. I tested CCI Stingers which had a loud sonic crack. My pistol doesn’t like Eley Sport, at all.

Here I am at 15 yards, one handed, Remington Gold hollow points on a Dueling tree with 4” plates.

Yes my UTV is near the targets and no UTV was harmed making this video.

I even tried an ammo dump for fun.

Holey Underwear! What a GREAT lookin' set up! I have a suppressor on my Ruger Mark III 22/45:

This pistol is set-up with a Lauer Manufacturing suppressor, made by the same outfit that sells "Dura-Coat" down in Chippewa Falls, WI. It now has a "prototype" bolt that weighs less than half of what the factory steel bolt weighs, designed so I can shoot CCI Quiet ammunition and get full cycling. Varmints, when the arrive in numbers of three or more, don't realize what happened when their brother or sister drop over from lead poisoning, and usually provide another shot or two. Just love it!
