I have a Saiga 308 to trade. This thing is decked out. I would take no less than $1300 ish for it.

Here's the two deals I've run across.

1. TC Contender with 7-30 Waters Barrel (16in), Leupold 1.5-5x scope, and Nikon M223. Rifle comes with a ton of brass, and dies, and various stocks and forends.

2. Ruger 300 WSM. Less than 10 rounds thru it. No scope.

With both deals I would be going less than my let go price. However, this Saiga doesn't do it for me. Should I take number 1 or number 2 and ask for additional cash?

Why not sell the 308 for $ and buy what you REALLY want? You'll have many more options.
I don't think you'll find a better, more simple, answer than that.

If one of those 2 trade options is what you really want but both are cheaper than what you could sell the rifle for, ask for some cash with the trade. If they can't add some cash, just sell your rifle.

Neither. When you get bored with whatever you trade for, it will be a hard sell. neither of the guns being offered for trade are really mainstream, both are more specialist guns and are hard to move. A lot harder than a 308 Saiga.

Believe it or not...I've had my saiga 308 for sale for a couple months now. Not one offer (listed it for trade or any cash offer).

But I did trade it away today for the contender. Could not be happier. Came with 200 pieces of brass, 40+ rounds, 200+ 7mm bullets, extra stock set, leupy vx3, Nikon m223 2-8x, and dies.
