Is it OK to shoot Buffalo Bore ammo out of the P90? I'd like to use my P90 as a backup for pigs and would like to use a FMJ Buffalo Bore ammo which is loaded to maximum power. Would this be a problem in the P90?

Yes... with a but. The P90 is pretty utilitarian tough with standard ammo, but on the other hand keep in mind that the frame is aluminum and it could take a battering from the slide under alot of rounds of that kind of recoil. I would say it's fine, but I would strongly suggest you try a higher than factory power recoil spring if you plan on using it often with that ammo. Factory standard in the P90 is 11lbs. I might suggest as high as 14 or even 16 lbs , but keep in mind that may affect feed reliability with lesser powered ammo. But then of course it's a simple 1 minute switch out for the range or carry.

Yes RUGERs are TUFF, is Buffalo Bore ammo.

I agree that the Ruger is a tough pistol, but so too is the Buffalo Bore ammo. I would go to the PLUS + P stuff instead.
