Ruger Single Six question.

I bought this one used a few years ago. It came with the box and some ammo. It shipped in 1963. The mag cylinder is still in the little red bag, I don't think I have ever fired it.

Man, does that bring back memories. Those pasteboard boxes with the Ruger eagle. The old yellow ammo boxes.

I never owned a 3 screw sadly. I saw new ones in a case in a sporting goods store when I was 18, but who knew that they would cease to be? Bought my first Ruger revolver around 1974, a Super Blackhawk, when the transfer bar New Models started.
