once you have disassembled the sp101 how do you completely break down the cylinder? the little spring loaded rod in the center of the ejector is leaving a gouge in the frame of my revolver and i would like to fix this without having to spend another 90 bucks mailing it back to ruger.

Disassembly of the ejector and ejector rod assembly requires a special tubular hardened steel "wrench".

This is a hard steel tube that fits down over the ejector rod and into the cylinder hole, and has lugs on the end that engage the slots in the ejector rod bushing.

Brownell's used to sell the wrench, but I'm not sure they still do.
Note that the wrench has to be well made and of good steel and properly hardened or you can easily damage the assembly.
