But, I'm going to get a friend to come out with me and watch closely what I do when I pull the trigger. Griz - I think you have given me two specific things to watch out for and I will. Thanks Loads!

You can do the same yourself by shooting ball and dummy. Load up the cylinder with 4 live rounds and 1 piece of brass. Spin and close the cylinder so you don't know where the empty brass is and watch the sights as you fire. You'll see any unwanted movement.

I had an SP101 that shot about 16" or so low at 25 yards. I tried bullets as heavy as 180 grains and could not get it to come up close to POA. I also have a S&W 642 Airwieght that I have no trouble keeping on an 8" target at 25 yards, so it's not me. I think some of these SP101's just shoot low and require a shorter front sight. I would call Ruger and tell them what is going on. They will probably send you a new front sight at no cost to you. They are easy to change out and your problem will be solved. The SP101 is a great little revolver and the accuracy is quite good. It's worth putting the effort into getting it right.

I had some 158 gr .357 Jacketed HPs. So, I took them out with my Ruger Blackhawk .357 and set the target up at 10 yards. I tried the Blackhawk first. No Problem. Then I used a spent round with four live rounds in the 101. When I came to the dummy I discovered that I was pushing the gun forward and down in anticipation of the recoil and I wasn't pulling the trigger smoothly through it's cycle. So, I reloaded and practiced till I got it right. I thank all of you for the help. Griz22, your advice was invaluable in helping me with this problem. I still need to take a little metal off the front sight, but for now I'm saying, "Mission Accomplished!"
