I saw a Smith & Wesson 27-2 for sale that comes with four different barrels much like you would see a Dan Wessonsson pistol pack.
I own currently one Dan Weston 7:15 and have owned many other monson Mass Dan wessons and know how to change out the barrels but that system is designed specifically for that.
How does one change out the barrels on a 27-2???

Unlike a Dan Wesson, the barrels on pre-2000 S&W revolvers need to be fitted and are not easily quickly changeable.

The Dan Wesson barrel change system is somewhat unique in the revolver world. I suppose the Dan Wesson system could be adapted to an S&W frame, but it definitely would be a :"one off" adaptation by an experienced gunsmith.

yes that is correct that the 27-2 has a pinned Barrel so I was wondering about it but if you look on GunBroker right now you will see what I'm talking about there's a 27-2 that's selling with three different barrels that claims to have paperwork from Smith and Wesson presumably from many decades ago

Many moons ago, there was a smith that turned pinned S&W's into interchangeable bbles.

They replaced the pin with an allen head screw, and pre fit the different bbls.

You turned out the screw, threaded off the old bbl, and turned on the new one, replacing the screw.
