From the previews on TV, cast and info below- looks like it could be a real fun flick.

---------------------------

Synopsis: The Los Angeles Po-lice Department struggles to keep a dangerous criminal (Martinez) behind bars, so they call veteran SWAT officer Lt. Dan Harrelson (Jackson) to organize one cool-??? team with an even cooler theme song.

A re-vamp of the popular T.V. series from 1975. Solid cast with Colin Farrell, Michelle Rodriguez and Samuel L. Jackson, a cool theme song and a lot of artillery makes this a possible fun little action flick. A cool trivia note: An actual police chase drove through the set during filming, oddly, a first for the L.A.P.D., let's hope to see that on Fox while promoting the flick.

Hopefully it will be good despite the really dumb looking previews I've seen for it. That orginal SWAT theme WAS one cool song though!

If I saw Resident Evil for the AG36, I suppose it won't hurt to see this considered the enhanced tacticality.

Which one is your Kimber with Schwartz lawyer safety? It's the one that says BAMF on it!

It looks cheesy, but it fulfils the Skunkabilly litmus test:
1. No romantic overtones.
2. No Tom Hanks in it to win the audience's favor over because he's just a nice guy.
3. No Denzel Washington in it to prove he's going to be right by the end of the movie.

I'm going to see this movie for one reason, and for one reason only.

I need my semi-annual dose of wunderbar German goodness that only Mr. Heckler & Mr. Koch can provide. ;)

I have jumped on board the "gotta watch the SWAT movie" bandwagon. Looks like a fun flick! I know it's not gonna be a contender for any award (well maybe an MTV award!), but it does look like a fun ride.

I hope it's more accurate than the TV program of the same name, where the sniper used a .234 caliber rifle . . . (Yep, you read it right, that was a two THIRTY FOUR caliber sniper rifle. I guess the script writer was dyslexic.)

Over 20 years, and that's all I really remember from the show except for guys doing a lot of rope climbing . . .

The previews made SWAT look like a dopey 80's B rate action flick.

I half expected to see Charlie Sheen and Judge Reinhold in some capacity.

i was excited the first i heard about it then i found out, that it was written by the same guy as the fast and the furious and XXX. so i doubt it will be realistic at all. and don't feel like spending 9 dollars to see it

I wanna see two things in it- someone jumps through the window and comes up ready to fire, and the sniper jumping from rooftop to rooftop and not falling.
