I remember when all these hit the Market. One dealer had Smiths,Colt 1903s,M1 carbines, and a couple of Colt police positives. Really wished I had the money at the time to buy one of each because of the history. They come up now and then on the gun sales sites. The only thing that would be more cool would be finding an early HongHong SF knife.

Is this in .38 Special, or .38 S&W? I saw some before (may have been C&R) that were in .38 S&W and wasn't sure I wanted to take the plunge.

Brass buttplate on the Rem 870? Neat.

I wish I had bought a RHKP revolver.

I was in HK just before the turnover, or takeover, or giveover. I wish I had a piece of that history as well. Congrats.

The nice model 870 RHKP that Shear Stress owns is an older one. Me thinks Remington stopped making the corncob forend in the late 50s.

Nice pieces. I can just see uniformed 1960 era Hong Kong police officers chasing enemy agents across the harbor while our hero battles the big bad on a Chinese Junk.

I remember seeing those RHKP Model 10s at my LGS back in the early to mid '90s. They all looked to be in excellent condition and were priced a little less than a new Model 10. I would imagine the RHKP carried them in a black crossdrawn flap holster along with a Sam Browne belt and shoulder strap, and with a lanyard cord attached.
