So after selling my Colt Commander Lightweight several years ago (and regretting it :fire:) I finally was able to get back into the 1911 game with a really nice Springfield Loaded Champion Stainless

Shot a few mags through it this afternoon and it ran both Tula and Winchester PDX1 flawlessly. The Tula even shot into a 1 hole group at 15 yards...not bad

I think im gonna keep this one for a while

Those are pretty nice pistols. Every one that I've had an involvement with has been reliable.

Unless Springfield has changed the specs recently, the Champ isn't true 4.25 inch Commmander length...but rather 4 inches...and standard Commander recoil springs won't work in it, even if it's got the standard plug and bushing system.

Other than that, there aren't any caveats.

Shoot'em if ya got'em!
