Anyone here owns a SA Pietta .22 lr 10 shot revolver? I saw this one in Cabelas and asked to handle it,that was a mistake. It feels good in my hand nice and heavy with a 5.5" barrel and 10 shot cylinder.Yes it's a member of my rimfire family now. There were two on display and the other one had a shorter barrel then the one I bought but it was a 10 shot.

I had the older six-shot version and couldn't shoot it worth squat. It may have been a lemon, but more likely I just don't do well with such small sights.

It seemed well made and didn't give me any problems.

I find it interesting that Pietta made the cylinder with the external "flutes" on the cylinder to look the same as a "six-gun". For some strange reason there are shooters out there who won't own a Ruger Single-Ten simply because it has more flutes on the cylinder, destroying what they imagine is the "Old West" look.
