anyone have one of these i have the saiga in 223 and 7.62 and was thinking about the 12 just wondering if the 12 will work as well as the others thanks

Got mine on "reserve" when another shipment comes in from Atlantic Arms. Supposedly going to be first of Feb so we'll see. :)

Saiga 12, wonderful shotty. Had one and gave it to my best friend as a wedding gift. Man do I miss it. I still get to play with it when we go shooting. Beautifully shooting gun. I loved going to the range to shoot clays with it and watching all the guys at the range with their Brownings, Berrettas etc looking at me with discord. Then when I rattle off 5 rounds and send 5 clays to meet their makers and switch mags, ready for another five before everyone else has managed to reload their two barrels. Makes me feel good. I think that I'll get another one to replace my mossy as my HD shotty. The mossy will then just be dedicated as a hunting shotty.

Get in line my man. I can't find them ANYWHERE. Well, gunbroker has some for $600+. I'm not going to pay that kind of markup just to have it right now instead a month or two from now.

I know, I've been lamenting that fact. Actually, I'd just found the other day a local ma&pa gun shop near my home has a used Saiga 12. He's asking $400 for it as of right now. I just burned up my gun funds on my newborn baby. I went on a buy spree and it all came out of my gun money. Ah well, it was for my baby girl. Money well spent. I just hope that the gun is still there in a month when I've got the extra money to buy it.

If you get a Saiga I would save your pennies and get a Tromix. Tony personally realigns the gas ports, completely strips the firearm and refinishes it, replaces any questionable parts, puts a new trigger in it and equips with all new furniture (of your choice). When its done it is truly a world class firearm.
Good luck!

:)

I own one, have not upgraded any of the internals, and it works great. I put a Saiga Sportster stock on it and that gives me a pistol grip of sorts, and I put a poly choke on it. The gun is awesome like this in my opinion. The question is not whether or not you should get one, the question is, how quickly do you need it and how much are you willing to pay?!
