I ordered this from CDNN and picked it up from a local dealer that was recommended to me. So far, without having shot it, I'm impressed. For less than $400 shipped, this thing is stout, well made, and feels amazing in my hands. I thought it would be big in my med-large hands, but it's just about perfect. I will mention, while not a problem for me, if the double action reach was any further, it would be a struggle to manage effectively. It's all steel and well balanced, ought to soak up recoil nicely. I think it's dead sexy! Aside from only coming with 1 mag (I ordered 2 more) , I'm nothing short of impressed at this price. In fact I could have paid another $100-$150 and still felt I got a fair deal. Just thought I'd share. SAR 45.jpg .

I have a Sar K2P 9mm. In my opinion, Sar handguns are some of the best values in the gun world right now.

Congrats! I luv mine. With 15 rounds of .45 I consider it an improvement over a CZ97.

Nice pickup! I wanted one when they first came out. Get great reviews. I have owned a few Sar pistols. Still have one I put a trigger job on. 1 spring from Wolf and a light polish and man does that trigger really feel great.

Guess I have two CZ clones now. I have a Witness Elite Match in 10mm. Just need to Grab a CZ P10 and Make a happy little family.

Congrats! But we need a range report! ;)

OEM magazines by Mec-Gar -- another mark in the pistol's favor (besides lots and lots of big bullets!). All steel, and my understanding is this Turkish company doesn't use any MIM parts either, FWIW (some here think MIM use in guns is heretical, even though it's been used in the aerospace industry for years). Tanfoglio design?

I've never had a single MIM part break on a gun. All the stuff I've had break has been made out of bar stock, like the hand on my Python, and the extractor on a couple of guns. I have a bunch of guns with MIM parts and they are not really a concern to me at all. The end of the hand on the Python is very thin, and since I know of two others that friends have owned that broke them too, it appears that they are the sole "weak link" in the entire gun.
