Savage bolt disassembly instructions

Anyone have a good link for intructions on breaking down a bolt for a Savage?

My 22-250 is having ejector pin/spring issues and now I have to replace it.

Problem is, once I remove the retaining pin and ejector pin the spring is stuck deep down and I cant get the bugger out.

Just wondering if there is some hints or lessons learned on tearing down the bolt assembly.

I just had to replace the ejector on my Savage as well. I just used a pin to dig out the spring.

I finally got the spring out. The spring was sandwiched pretty good. Savage is sending me a new spring, pin and retaining pin in the mail this week free of charge.

Taking the bolt apart was a breeze.
