There's nothing wrong with a 30" barrel, and if you want long-range performance it'll give some more of that vs. a 26" After carrying around a 26" barrel with another 8" of suppressor hanging off the end, I'm not so hung up on apparent barrel length.
One of my fellow Colorado shooters uses a Choate stock, ugly as it is, and he gets great results. Of course, he is an exceptional shooter. He also modified it to work with AICS mags.
