One of the rifles we use for Hunter Education Classes is messing up on me. It is a Savage Mark I Y. We have 18 of these rifles and they have really been very good guns for our needs. However on one of the LH rifles shoots fine but when you go to extract your empty casing. The bolt slides out of the gun instead of coming to a stop like it should.
The bolt as most of you know only should be able to be removed while holding back on the trigger. Any ideas on how to fix this problem or am I better off just sending it back to Savage?
