They're crude.

They are ugly.

But by God they feel like they were made just for me!

I was cruising around my favorite money-furnace, minding my own business, when I saw that they had a few new racks of used rifles. An entire Arisaka collection, some eddystones, winchester 1917s, sporterized and untouched, new old shotguns, etc.

Then I saw the hi-point, sitting there between a beautiful Russian SKS and the wall. Complete with sling and BSA red dot, $145.

I called up my brother in law, who's been looking for one for a while. I told him about it and he came to pick it up the next day! After getting to play around with it a bit, I must say that the stock shape, position of controls, and balance have impressed the hell out of me.

Maybe I just wasn't expecting much. It's crude, but it feels great.

Maybe he'll let me shoot it once or twice. :)

They are good weapons but I will take my SUB-2000 over it anyday just for the extended mags. Not too much more money either.

I really need one. They are just great. Cheap, reliable, gauranteed for life, and not only made in America they are made in Ohio (my home state)

BTW, I think the carbines look cool. Not the so ugly they're cool look of the pistols. Like honestly, sharp.

the problem with the kelTec is in mounting optics.

I'll take a 10rd 9mm with a good red dot over a 30rd 9mm with crappy plastic sights any day of the week and twice on sunday

If you need optics with a 9mm carbine, you need get closer.

these carbines are all about FUN, if hitting things is your goal any .22 will beat the pants off these pistol cal carbines.

But there's something about a pistol cal autoloader carbine + red dot that = pure fun
