In Texas, my understanding is that SCCC is teaming up with some state legislators to repeal the state's prohibition of campus carry, even by those with CHL's. All of you Texans out there, let's get behind the group and try to help and support them all that we can. I would suggest that each of you find out who your state representatives and state senators are and begin to contact them now about this issue. Politely ask them their position. If they are favorable, consider contributing to their re-election campaign or working for their campaign organization in your district. If they oppose CC on campus, then let them know that will be an issue for you when you step into the voting booth in November. But always be polite, even if they disagree with you. Ranting and abuse just gives us all a bad name.

Just make sure that when they change the law, they prohibit public universities from banning guns themselves (like we have here in VA...with the exception of VCU in Richmond, there is no state ban of carry on college campuses...the indivdual schools set their own policy, and are only enforcable because they'll expel you or fire you.)
