looked at a Schofield replica by Uberti while partially paying off my rifle layaway at the local gun store today

OMG I LOVE THAT THING. it was in .45LC

i always kind of thought they looked weird, until picking it up!

I love the old hinged frame Smith & Wessons.

I just wish that someone would make a real New Model Number Three instead of just lengthening the Schofield frame.

yup, REALLY nice revolvers. Havewanted one myelf but something else keeps pushing it down on the list. Spotted on in the case last week while I was picking up a .32 Birdshead. Had to turn away so as not to be too tempted. I'd go with the 7 1/2" model in 45 Colt.
