Seating rifle bullets

OK I think I have a good starting point:
1. I know where my bullet touches the lands. Back off .02 inches (to be safe) & continue backing in .010" increments & compare results
2. No crimping, just seat the bullet into the case
3. 5-shot groups with a cooling period between groups

I like everything except .010 jump increments, using a Tangent ogive projectile .005 increments with help you quickly narrow down your seating depth. Secant ogive May require larger or (Course) adjustments
