Seecamp 380 ?

Anyone here have a Seecamp 380?

If so;
-How much harsher is it to shoot in comparison to the 32? Painful?
-I understand it is exactly the same size as the 32 but actually is lighter, is this true?
-Does it shoot ball ammo or does it require HPs like the 32 does?
-Is it priced the same as the 32 and is it difficult to obtain one?
-Overall impression of the gun.
-Any pics?

Don't have one, nor I have I shot one.

But I do know some info. First, the cheapest I've seen one is from Wildalaska who last time posted they were going to be $750.

Second, I used to have a Seecamp .32 and I even spoke to Larry Seecamp one day about the .380 and he said it had about 30-40% more recoil than the .32 if memory serves me correct.

Third, with the gun having only a 2 inch barrel there really isn't much benefit if any by upgrading to a .380 in this particular gun. A lot of people argue right now that the .32 and .380 have pretty much the same performance even out of longer barreled guns (w/ the .380 having a very slight edge).

Also the gun is actually slightly heavier, about 1/2 oz I belieive, but its the same exact dimenisions otherwise. And I'm also fairly sure you still have to use HP due to them using the smallest possible mags. If you're really interested you should just call Larry and speak with him.

Overall I'd say its not worth it to get the .380 over the .32 in this case.

I have the Seecamp .32 and love it. I was also looking at the .380 but my dealer wants 925.00 forget that. I am sure they are worth it but overpriced seeing they are basically the same gun as the .32. As for getting ahold of larry I think the only way is to fax him Dont think he answers the phone from what I have heard if someone knows a # I would like it I would like to contact him with a question..

Also have the Seecamp .32 and love it. Think I will just stick with that one.
