Hey Folks,

Helping a non-shooting buddy get rid of some gun related items due to his FIL having some age related, mental degeneration issues.

He has a fair amount of 300WSM and 300 Holland & Holland magnum stuff. Not knowing anyone that owns/shoot these rounds, I am wondering what would be involved in selling it.

I'll be looking into the IL laws related to it, but curious if a FFL is required? Can I even ship via ups, FedEx, USPS etc?

Thanks in advance for any input you may have.

As I stated elsewhere, I manage a pawn shop and we ship ammo sold on both our website and Gunbroker. Other than the special shipping label indicating it's ammo, there's no ffl needed. When looking into it I saw, as I anticipated seeing, that you can't ship powder, but it rather surprised me that you can't ship primers but ammo's okay.

LOL thanks. Wish he still had whatever rifles that are those things! I'd consider breaking openings the old piggy bank.

Be well
