Anyone know anything about sharp (tm) brand knives?

I picked this up in the late 90s and it seems a bit like a budget man's buck knife. Maybe a 105 or so, 4.5 inch blade metal handle some kind of wood sticker maybe. It has held up to about a thousand camps and hikes in rain and misuse.

I've never had to retouch the edge as far as I can remember. Still paper cutting sharp. Some darkening of exposed metal on the pommel and now the cross guard has a wiggle, but the blade is still firm and rust but not ding free.

Pretty sure it was like 15 bucks or so. Stamped made in Taiwan on the blade and nice leather sheath.

Just curious if anyone has any experience or details. All I can find is sharp knife from Japan. Maybe they moved locations.

They were Kmart's house branded knives. Kmart held the trademark and handled the warranty work. In the beginning they were made in Japan, then Taiwan and finally China. Early productions were actually quite decent....the Chi-Com ones not so much.
