This is straight up entertainment except it seems to be fairly historically correct and deals with a lot of blackpowder shooting.

it may have already been posted here but i did not stumble across it untill
a couple of weeks ago (searching for info on sharps rifles) and its been a great show.

I agree, great movies and books. Been reading them for years. The local PBS station aired most of the Sharpe's movies. Hoping they do that again, soon.

if you follow it through youtube seems to have all of them i spent an awfull amount of time watching them all.

I watched every one of those, and have most of Bernie Cornwell's books. Just great stuff!
