Shell holder for press: Lee/Hornady compatibility

I am considering buying Hornady die sets for 45 ACP and 38 Special/357 Mag. Should I be buying Hornady shell holders to go with these or, are the Lee shell holders okay? I have Lee presses.

Shell holders have been made to a uniform standard for quite some time. They are interchangeable.

Thanks for the responses. I only have the Lee at this time, so I could not measure others for a comparison.

The only reason you would actually need Hornady shell holders is if you have a Hornady powered case prep center or a Hornady Cam Loc case trimmer. Other than that it shouldn't matter.
